Recently I read the book, Bourne Identity. Its a typical hollywood style action packed thriller. You'll be completely involved in the story and wont think abt anything else unless you finish the book. But after finishing the book reading a thought struck my mind.
How much one nation's insecurity, fears that others will attack them, provoks them to attack other nations. How can you justify this attack. I'm patriotic enough to protect my country if anyone attacks my country. But does being patriotic gives me right to attack others just because I fear they'll attack me first?
The book is not just fiction, it reflects reality. What has happend in Vietnam, what is happening in Iraq.
I think we need to think about it.
